30 Days of Me: Day 6

Ugh, I’m behind on my 30 Days of Me posts.  I’ve had a few blargh days, where I’ve just not felt like writing.  But I will catch up, I promise.

So, on to day six huh?

Day 06- Favorite super hero and why

Ooh what a tough choice!  When I was a kid, I always loved the Silver Surfer.  He was so beautiful, sailing away there on his board, all shiny and sleek.  I don’t remember much else about why I liked him than that.

I discovered Tank Girl in my early 20’s and thought she was the rockingest chick ever created.  I mean, she kicked arse, had a great sense of op-shop style, wore big boots AND she had a kangaroo dude for a boyfriend!  How awesome is that?

Some years ago I found Hellboy thanks to the movies directed by Guillermo del Toro.  Hellboy is such a grumpy bastard, but he has a sweet tooth and loves kitties.  Plus he totally loves his HOT girlfriend.  I have a fantastic artwork of Hellboy done by Lee Sargent from Quit Your Day Job.

I also have to say that I have a soft spot for Wolverine, but only because Hugh Jackman is so gorgeous that I practically ovulate on sight of him.

Adam and I used to collect The Dark Knight comics so I’d have to have Batman in my list and I really have no clue about the Silver Surfer, but the rest of your list I could just copy outright and for much the same reasons 🙂

Batman never really did anything for me. But how damn good was Heath Ledger in that last movie?

I’ve always liked Deadpool – bit of a smarky outcast that knows what is really going on. And he looked cool.

Man, reading your entries on this meme makes me want to play too. Excellent, EXCELLENT superhero choices. ❤ Hellboy is one of my favorites too. He loves kitties! *squee!* Have you seen any of the animated specials? Uses the same voice cast from the movies. I really dug them a bunch.
